Christmas Snow!
Zadie teaching Hannah how to throw snowballs!
Christmas came early for all of us who wanted a white Christmas! Snow began to fall early Friday afternoon and did not let up into late into the night and into Saturday morning. By the time we woke up, we had about 6 inches of snow to play in! We got Hannah all bundled up in her makeshift snow suit(do the stores in the south even carry snowsuits?) and we went out to have fun in the snow! She had a blast making and throwing snowballs at Daddy mostly, but also chasing Jasmine around in the snow..... what a fun start to our Christmas holiday!

Thankful
I stole this idea from Joanna..
With Thanksgiving approaching, here are 20 things that I am thankful for
1. For my daughter.....she makes me a better person and a better mother... she always knows how to make me smile and can make a bad day turn into a great day just by seeing her beautiful face and hearing her say"Mommy I love you" or "Mommy I missed you today"
2. For my family and friends, and those friends who are considered "family"-My life would not be complete without them and their support...you all know who you are
3. My husband- just for being who he is..he supports us financially and emotionally and works so hard so I can still be a stay at home mom to Hannah
4. my mom- just for being my mom
5. For the opportunity to go back and get my education. I am so proud of myself, as difficult and challenging it is, I am so grateful for this opportunity
6. To be an American-and all the privledges that come with it... never take them for granted
7. For Ros and Jerry- for providing Hannah with opportunities that we could not give her right now due to living on one salary. I am forever grateful and love you both
8. For Hannah's teachers, Janet and Vickie- You are helping us to instill wonderful values in her, and have become such an important part of her life
9. For my health and the health of my family
10. My slanket... yes you all can laugh, but its one of the greatest inventions and most comforting
11. My home-So many people don't have one
12. My strength- God has graced me with a strength that I didnt know I had.. it helps me get through each day
13. For Starbucks... caramel macchiatos, pumpkin spice lattes, gingerbread lattes, starbucks double shot.. the list goes on..
14. My husband's cooking and baking
15. our Military... and the freedom they fight so hard to provide to our country
16. Philosophy products
17. For comfort food on a cold winter day
18. For being able to spend the holidays with the people I love
19. For slatkin candles
20. For quiet dinners as a family, especially on Friday nights and our newly started"family movie night"... then is when wonderful memories are made

High Holidays
Well its that time of year. We have been so busy. I dont know what it is about the fall, but our schedules always seem to be slammed full.....September has been a very busy month for us. We managed to stop for a family shot on Yom Kippur before heading to the family service. It was a beautiful, sunny day. Check back soon for some more updates on the Yaravitz family!

First Day
Hannah started a new chapter in her life today. First day of preschool! She was very excited to go. Drop off was a little rough for both Hannah and mommy, but we made it through and she had a great time on her first day. Mommy and Daddy even got a little time to go and get some coffee this morning! Lets hope for continued success throughout this year
